Betty Cooper, Archie Andrews, Jughead Jones, Veronica Lodge, Cheryl Blossom, and many of the other iconic characters of Riverdale, caught up in a murder case, in a seemly perfect town.

Based on a comic series, Riverdale is a successful intriguing teen tv show airing on Netflix. And boy is it addictive… I binged watched this show about as fast and uninterrupted as I binged watched 13 Reasons Why.

For starters, in case you’ve never heard of the show you can watch the trailer to it here, and I highly reccomend you do just to get a solid feel for the show. Good? Cool. Glad we’re on the same page.

Now lets be honest, that trailer + Cole Sprouse and KJ Apa, are definitely enough motivation to give the show a try.

The show has a very vague and almost mystical vibe about it. It almost reminds me of the Disney kids tv show, Gravity Falls, but imagine if that show got turned into a murder mystery for grown-ups. At least we maintained the mystery kids. Altho the aspects of the show are very realistic, it still maintains a sci-fi fantasy feel to it, and its something I really enjoy about the show. The visuals are artsy.

Not to mention the music choices for the show are absolutely great. Not quite as good as the Twilight Soundtrack, (which literally everyone, even if you absolutely hate Twilight, should give a listen) but definitely up there.

Here’s a good example of some of the music here. https://youtu.be/XS1fbdWZM5Y

And while I cannot spoil the ending of season 1 (or can I?) with its romance and cold case twists (definately going to spoil a bit), this series is a wonderful rollercoaster experiance you don’t wanna miss out on. High school drama shows for the win! I know, Lemon Ghost is classy. I watch classy shit.

With all of its ups and downs I give this show 5/5 stars. I really did enjoy it. And do highly reccomend giving it a watch. It’s on Netflix and I hope you guys enjoy it.
